My Story

Our journey began with a quote…

“Like wildflowers; You must allow yourself to grow in all the places people thought you never would” -E.V.

Within this quote, our owner and creator Sarah was able to find creative inspiration in her life.

Sarah began her education at Minnesota State University Moorhead, receiving a B.A. in Psychology and M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

During her time in college she decided that she wanted to be a part of something bigger than herself. She joined many organizations, including a sorority on her campus. Some of her many fond memories include hand making greek letters for her sisters to wear.

From her experience with Delta Zeta, she also found a passion for philanthropic work. Spending her time giving to others and working hard to improve her community only made her passion for helping people that much stronger.

Well that may sound great and all, but you might be asking how this relates to WILDFLOWER & CO.? Sarah decided it was about time, and chose to combine her passions into one project and to open her own business.

At 23, Sarah started working full time as a mental health professional, advocating for women in her community, and spending her “free” time volunteering to help college women.

“I wanted to do more, and to help more women in my life. My knowledge of mental health issues, and my passion for creating opportunities for success made it an easy decision to open WILDFLOWER & CO.” -Sarah.

WILDFLOWER & CO. strives to support strong women who fight adversity every day. Women who fight addiction, women who can’t afford an education, women who constantly fight to make their voices heard, and women who have been put down and told they can’t do something. WILDFLOWER & CO. was made to help women fight back. Strong women supporting strong women is what we want to see. We hope you think so too!
